Meet the Team

Elizabeth Del Nagro

Elizabeth is a lifelong educator and small time farmer with a passion for cooking, crafting, yoga and making beautiful events happen on the farm. An Ojai native, Elizabeth has nailed the art of doing nothing while simultaneously doing a little bit of everything; she believes that keeping it slow, simple, and close to the earth is the secret to a good life. Elizabeth knows a beautiful handmade life is rooted in earthiness and simplicity from the ground up. Elizabeth re-envisions where wellness, travel and nourishing place-based lifestyle meet through collaborations with other artists combined with her wellness brand, Farm Love Yoga.

John Fonteyn

John has spent the past decades farming, cooking and getting involved with anything related to food, writing and music. You may have heard his voice throughout town and on the written page in local publications.

Pickles

Well, Pickles is just Pickles keeping it all together and herding us all into our proper places.

Sisterfriends will be warming the new stage on October 25

One final addition to the 2026 lineup for @farmloveojai and @farmloveyoga This time poetry!

November 22nd 11-2pm.

No better time than fall heading into winter to take the inward journey, to dig deep down and deep in, pen meeting the paper, feet meeting the mud. When water and earth come together it makes ink.

We'll be amongst some of Ojai's earthiest women, the fabulous Karen Hesli, along with me, Elizabeth Del Negro, as you find your places by the river, your spot in the rocks and dirt to self-excavate through poetry writing.

You bring: a shareable snack, your own journal and ink, we share a reading afterwards around the fire pit. It is really that simple.

This one is by donation, open to all 18+. Only 12 spots available, so if you're leaning in toward winter's softer light and would like to join us please email us and let us know who you are, why you want to get muddy with us, and tell us a little bit about how poetry fits in your season. No experience necessary, but please feel free to even share a poem you've written. We'll confirm your spot and send additional details. Can't wait.
